Thursday, Prekindergarten through grade 1, the fun starts at 9:30, with preschool joining in as they choose

Friday, Grades 2 through 5, the fun starts also at 9:30

Today all grade 1-5 students will bring home a ticket order form. Please order your tickets and send your money in. Tickets will be delivered to your child by a member of the cast tomorrow. It couldn’t be easier!!

The Music Man is fun for the whole family. Members of Shanghai’s JZ Big band feature in the  “Super” school orchestra and our famous school marching band will make a very special appearance.

We need the entire school community to share in this wonderful community event. Musicals provide life-long memories for children.

The skills assessed by the NWEA align fairly well with the SCIS curriculum.  Thus it is a useful external assessment tool for use in conjunction with other internal and external assessments to gauge the effectiveness and consistency of our programs.

On the individual level, parents can use the results to watch their child’s growth over time.  Additionally, teachers are able to use the results as one means of assessing a child’s learning needs.

I would also like to thank those, to numerous to mention by name, behind the scenes making this night possible.  Special thanks to our theater manager Mr. Bing and to our resident drummer Zack Smith.

Students should be at their designated holding area at 6:00 pm.

Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria from 6 – 6:30.

Concert starts at 6:30.
