Join us for a buffet lunch at the Holiday Inn Jianguo on April 21, 2010, at 11:00 AM. Lunch cost is 130 RMB net per person which includes drinks, etc. This lunch event is open to everybody, so if you have friends and visitors, please bring them along. To make this lunch more fun and exciting, Holiday Inn is giving us a few prizes. We will have lucky draw and a few announcements after lunch.

TO MAKE THIS EVENT EXTRAORDINARY, WE HAVE FIRST SCHEDULED BOWLING, FOLLOWED BY DINNER AT THE VERANDA ITALIAN RESTAURANT INSIDE THE DRAGON HOTEL. BOWLING COST IS 180 RMB FOR 1 1/2 HOURS TO BE SPLIT AMONG 8 PERSONS (APPROXIMATELY 25 RMB PER PERSON). DINNER COST IS 250 RMB NET PER PERSON WHICH INCLUDES ONE GLASS OF WINE, SOFT DRINKS, ETC.

There are a lot of musicians within the HIS community. We have seen a lot of performances already but we think there is more! How about playing with your friends, parents, teachers? Want to create a band for this occasion? We would welcome it very much!
On Saturday 20 March 2010, from 2 PM till 5 PM, PAFA would like to organize a Talent Show and everybody is invited who loves to perform on stage or just listen. We only have two restrictions:
1. It has to be a performance with at least 2 people at the time, so get your band together, ask your teacher to play your favorite piece with you or sing your best song with your friends!
2. The maximum performance time is 3 minutes so everyone has a chance to have a go!
Of course, if you are not a musician but a wonderful magician or dancer, please register as well with your assistant or ballet friend and make your own wonderful 3 minute show!

- Your name and grade number
- What is your act (music, other performance)
- Names of your assistant, band members, dance friend or singing friend
- If you need an instrument from school (like a piano)

We hope this will be a great success. And dads, mums (or other family members) and teachers: you are invited as well so please register with us!! We can only go on with this event if we have a load of participants, so sign up!!

A huge thank you to all of our PAFA volunteers that helped during our International Day festivities. Without your help in organization, engaging the students in the various stations, we wouldn’t have had such a fabulous time. Thank you all!
PAFA would like to thank all volunteers who contributed to the success of our X-mas holiday brunch last Saturday. All parents that helped decorate the different areas, brought wonderful desserts and helped with the games: we could not have done this without you!
We would also like to thank Kelly Kramer, Kurt Kahlenbeck, Psyche Sun, Diego and office staff for their continuous support whenever we want to organize an event. We realize it gives them extra work but we feel it has a positive effect on the community feeling! A big thanks to you!!
Also, we would also like to thank Marina Gramann, Saima Hassan and Yoshie for their efforts at the Halloween party. Their names were omitted in error in the acknowledgement list, however, PAFA and HIS would like to let them know that their efforts were very much appreciated.
And last but not least, we would like to wish you all a very nice Holiday and a good start of the New Year and hope to see you all at our next event. We will keep you informed!
